In the New application versions section, you can modify settings for downloading and installing a new version of the application:

• Download and install new versions automatically. The new version of the application is downloaded automatically. Your confirmation is required to install the new version of the application. This option is selected by default.
• Do not download new versions automatically and do not notify me when new versions are available. Kaspersky Internet Security does not automatically download the new version of the application and does not notify you of its availability. When you become aware of release of a new application version, you can download and install it on your own.

Clicking this link opens the Run mode for database updates window. In this window, you can create a schedule according to which Kaspersky Internet Security will run update tasks.

Clicking this link opens the Update source window. In this window, you can select a source for receiving application database updates.

Clicking the link opens the User Account Settings window. In this window, you can specify the user account under which update tasks will run.
