Managing Unwanted contacts
Unwanted contacts is the list of phone numbers that you do not want to receive calls from. To block a call, add a phone number to the list. Contacts added to Unwanted contacts will not be able to contact you anymore.
You can add numbers to Unwanted contacts via the contacts on your phone, the app's call history, or manually. If you want to receive calls from an unwanted contact again, remove it from Unwanted contacts or unblock it from the All calls list.
If you have a phone with two SIM cards, Call Filter does not block incoming calls on the second line.
How to add a phone number to Unwanted contacts?
- On the Kaspersky Internet Security quick launch panel, tap Call Filter > Unwanted contacts.
- In the list of Unwanted contacts, tap .
- Specify the details of the unwanted contact. You can type the telephone number or tap to select it from your contacts or the call log.
You can add telephone number ranges. To do this, use wildcards when specifying the Telephone number. Use “?” to replace a single digit, for example, 8495163574?. In this case all numbers between 84951635740 and 84951635749 will be blocked. Or use “*” to replace several digits, for example, 849516357*. In this case all numbers between 84951635700 and 84951635799 will be blocked.
- Tap to save the added contact.
The contact is added to the list of Unwanted contacts and the counter of unwanted contacts is increased by one.
Now, all calls from this phone number will be blocked.
How to block a phone number from the app's call history?
- On the Kaspersky Internet Security quick launch panel, tap Call Filter.
- In the All calls list, tap the number that you want to block.
If this number is not on the list of Unwanted contacts, the app prompts you to add it.
- Confirm adding the selected number to Unwanted contacts.
The number is added to the list of Unwanted contacts and the counter of unwanted contacts is increased by one.
Now, all calls from this phone number will be blocked.
How to add a phone number to Unwanted contacts immediately after the call?
If you received a call from a phone number that is not in your contacts and if you have Prompt after call enabled, the app prompts you to block the number after the call.
In the prompt, select one of the following:
- Block calls, if you want to block calls from this phone number.
- Skip, if you want to receive calls from this phone number.
If you selected to block the number, it is added to the list of Unwanted contacts, and the counter of unwanted contacts is increased by one.
Now all the calls from this phone number will be blocked.
How to edit an unwanted contact?
- On the Kaspersky Internet Security quick launch panel, tap Call Filter > Unwanted contacts.
- In the list of unwanted contacts, select the contact that you want to edit.
- Edit the details of the contact.
You can use wildcards when specifying the Telephone number. Use “?” to replace a single digit, for example, 8495163574?. In this case all numbers between 84951635740 and 84951635749 will be blocked. Or use “*” to replace several digits, for example, 849516357*. In this case all numbers between 84951635700 and 84951635799 will be blocked.
- Tap to save the added contact.
The contact in the list of Unwanted contacts is updated, and calls from this phone number will be blocked.
How to remove a contact from Unwanted contacts?
- On the Kaspersky Internet Security quick launch panel, tap Call Filter > Unwanted contacts.
- In the list of unwanted contacts, swipe the contact to the left and tap .
- Confirm deletion.
The contact is removed from the list of Unwanted contacts and the counter of unwanted contacts is decreased by one.
Now, you will receive calls from this phone number.
