Saving the Account Using an Extension

Kaspersky Password Manager automatically suggests that you save new logins and passwords in the vault if you:

• access the account on the website for the first time;
• register a new account;
• change account password.

If you register a new account or change a password for an existing account, the application will automatically assess the strength of your password and make suggestions on strengthening it further. You can use the Password Generator to create a strong password.

In order to save the account in the vault using an extension, follow these steps:

1. Go to the website.
2. Open the account login form.
3. Enter your login and password and sign into your account.

   Kaspersky Password Manager window will open and offer to save this account.

4. Click the Save button.

The account has been saved. You can view or change it in the Websites section.

If you have not completed the registration process on the website, you can only save the password and continue the registration with this password later. The application saves the account with your password and automatically-generated login. The default login looks like this: empty_account_name <date created>.
