This checkbox enables/disables the creation of a backup copy of your vault.

If the checkbox is selected, Kaspersky Password Manager saves a backup copy before deleting your vault. You can use it to restore your data if you remember your main password.

When creating a backup copy of the vault, Kaspersky Password Manager exports entries to a file stored on your device. The backup copy is protected by the main password used when the backup copy was created. The backup copy is stored in encrypted form in EDB format. By default, Kaspersky Password Manager creates backup copies in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Kaspersky Password Manager\Backup.
