Advanced section
In the Proxy server section, you can configure proxy server connections.
Clicking this button opens the Proxy server window, where you can specify proxy server connection settings.
In the Sort entries alphabetically (A-Z) section, you can reset any custom sorting and order the entries alphabetically.
Clicking this button sorts all entry types alphabetically.
In the Check for compromised passwords section, you can enable or disable an additional password security check.
Clicking this link opens the Check password security section of the application help in your default browser. You can read how Kaspersky Password Manager checks whether any of your passwords have been compromised.
If the switch is turned ON, the application searches for compromised passwords in your vault during a password security check. If the switch is turned OFF, the application checks only for repeated and weak passwords.
By default, the switch is turned ON.
In the Track issues section, you can enable or disable saving of the debugging information for Technical Support.
This checkbox enables/disables logging of Kaspersky Password Manager events.
If the checkbox is selected, Kaspersky Password Manager automatically logs application events. If the checkbox is cleared, application events are not logged.
By default, this checkbox is cleared.
In the Fast hotkey credentials search section, you can set a hotkey combination to open a list of your passwords and logins from any place in Windows.
Enable fast hotkey credentials search by pressing:
This checkbox enables / disables Fast hotkey credentials search feature. Check the box Enable fast hotkey search by pressing: and set the hotkey combination to start using the feature.
If the checkbox is selected, by pressing the hotkey combination you open a list of your logins and passwords. If the checkbox is cleared, the hotkey combination doesn't open your credentials list.
By default, this checkbox is cleared.
Show details on contents and storage of trace files
Clicking this link opens the Use trace files section of the application help in your default browser. You can check what information is stored in trace files on your computer.
In the News notifications section, you can select the way you want to view news and promotional offers in the Kaspersky Password Manager interface.
Show news when starting Kaspersky Password Manager
This checkbox enables/disables the display of news and promotional offers in the application interface.
If the checkbox is selected, a window containing news and promotional offers from Kaspersky opens after application startup. If the check box is cleared, the window does not open.
By default, this checkbox is selected.
In the Responsive to you and your needs section, you can read Statement Regarding Data Processing for Marketing Purposes and decide if you want to provide data to improve application performance and receive additional beneficial offers.
Accept / Decline If you see the Accept button, it means that at the moment you don't share your data with Kaspersky Password Manager in order to improve application performance. If you want to start sharing, press Accept, and read and confirm Statement Regarding Data Processing for Marketing Purposes. If you see the Decline button, it means that you help us to improve the application. if you no longer want to provide data to improve application performance and receive additional beneficial offers, press Decline and confirm your decision.
