To configure exclusions from Attachment Filtering:
Open the Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 Management Console.
In the left part of the page, select the Protection section.
In the upper part of the page, select the Anti-Virus tab.
In the Exclusions from Attachment Filtering section, select the check boxes next to the exclusion rules that you want to apply. The following exclusion rules are available:
Select this check box to specify the mailboxes that will be added to the list of exclusions during attachment filtering. The application will not filter attachments sent to the mailboxes that you have specified in the list.
To add an email address to the list, enter it in the Specify mailbox entry field and click the button.
To remove an email address from the list, click the button next to it.
Select this check box to specify external email addresses that will be added to the list of exclusions during attachment filtering. The application will not filter attachments sent from the email addresses that you have specified in the list.
To add an email address to the list, enter it in the Specify sender's email address entry field and click the button.
To remove an email address from the list, click the button next to it.
Select this check box to specify the file names or masks that will be added to the list of exclusions during attachment filtering. The application will not filter attachments that match the file names or masks you have specified.
To specify a file name or a file mask, enter it in the Specify a file mask entry field and click the button.
To remove an entry from the list, click the button next to this entry.
Examples of permitted file name masks:
*.txt – all files with the *.txt extension, for example, readme.txt or notes.txt
readme.??? – all files named readme with an extension of three characters, for example, readme.txt or readme.doc
test – all files named test without an extension
Click Save.
Exclusions are applied to all configured Attachment Filtering rules.
