Changing the priority of a rule within a group

Within a group, rules are checked in the order of precedence in the traffic processing rule table, top to bottom. The higher the rule in the traffic processing rule table, the higher its priority. You can change the priority of a rule by moving it in the traffic processing rule table.

To change the priority of a rule within a group:

  1. In the application web interface window, select one of the following sections:
    • for global rules, the Rules section;
    • for workspace rules, the Workspaces section.
  2. If you added a workspace, select one of the following tabs:
    • Before workspace rules.
    • After workspace rules.
  3. Select a group of traffic processing rules from the following lists:
    • Access groups to configure the display of access rules table.
    • Protection groups to configure the display of protection rules table.

    The traffic processing rules table opens.

  4. To move a traffic processing rule up in the rules list:
    1. Select the check box next to the rule that you want to move.
    2. Click Move up.

    The traffic processing rule is moved up in the rules list.

  5. To move a traffic processing rule down in the rules list:
    1. Select the check box next to the rule that you want to move.
    2. Click Move down.

    The traffic processing rule is moved down in the rules list.
