Configuring a template for a traffic processing rule

To configure a template for a traffic processing rule:

  1. In the application web interface window, select one of the following sections:
    • for global rules, the Rules section;
    • for workspace rules, the Workspaces section.
  2. If you added a workspace, select one of the following tabs:
    • Before workspace rules.
    • After workspace rules.
  3. In the Access groups list, select a group of access rules.

    The traffic processing rules table opens.

  4. Select the traffic processing rule for which you want to configure a template.

    This opens a window containing information about the rule.

  5. In the lower right corner of the window, click Edit.

    The Edit access rule window opens.

  6. Select the Specify text to display in blocking template check box.
  7. Type the message text.
  8. If you want to add a macro to the message text, select one of the options from the Insert macro drop-down list:
    • %URL%—Web address of the forbidden website.
    • %RULE_NAME%—Name of the traffic processing rule that caused the web resource to be blocked.
    • %DATE%—Date and time of the event.
    • %APPLICATION%—Name of the application.

      If multiple values are available, they are separated with a comma.

  9. Click Save.

The template for the traffic processing rule is configured.
