Initial setup of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud

After you create a company workspace, you must perform initial setup of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. Initial setup starts automatically when you start Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Management Console for the first time. The Welcome to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud window is displayed. Proceed with initial setup as described in this section.

Occasionally, a workspace may be unavailable due to maintenance. If this is the case, you will not be able to proceed to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Management Console. If you try to open the Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud workspace, a message appears, stating that the server is under maintenance. The message includes the date and time when the server status will be refreshed. Sign in to the workspace after the indicated time.

To perform initial setup of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud:

  1. In the Welcome to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud window, click the Get started button.

The End User License Agreements window opens.

This window displays the texts of the End User License Agreement for Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows, the End User License Agreement for Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac, the End User License Agreement for Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent, and the Privacy Policy.

  2. Carefully read the text of each document.
  3. If you agree to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreements (EULAs) and if you are aware and agree that your data will be handled and transmitted (including to third countries) as described in the Privacy Policy, and you confirm that you have fully read and understand the Privacy Policy, select the check boxes next to the listed documents and click the I accept the terms button.

If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, do not use the Kaspersky Lab security applications. If only some of the check boxes are selected, you will not be able to manage Windows devices and Mac devices in Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. The End User License Agreements window will close.

You can agree to the terms of the End User License Agreements and Privacy Policy later in the Distribution packages section when you prepare a distribution package of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows or Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac.

The Proxy server settings window opens.

  4. If necessary, define the proxy server settings and click Next.

The Get the most out of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud window opens. The window lists the features that Kaspersky Lab experts prompt you to use.

  5. If you want to configure these features, make the necessary changes and click OK. If configuring a feature requires additional steps, relevant windows open. Follow the onscreen instructions.

If you click the Later button, you will be able to configure the features at a later time.

The Use of Kaspersky Security Network window opens.

  6. Carefully read the Kaspersky Security Network Statement and click the I accept the terms button if you agree to them.

If you click the I decline button, the use of Kaspersky Security Network will be disabled. Other functions of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud will not be affected. If necessary, you can enable the use of Kaspersky Security Network in the Management Console at any time.

Initial setup of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud for your company is complete. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Management Console appears in your browser.
