Exclusions

In this window you see two inserts: Trusted apps and Trusted machines. Switch between them to see lists of corresponding items added to Exclusions. If you add machine or application to the Exclusions, it means that you trust it and it will not be blocked by Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business even if it seems suspicious.

To add an application to the list of trusted applications:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the lower left corner of the main window, select Settings settings_icon.

    The Settings list opens.

  3. Switch to the Exclusions section.
  4. In the Trusted apps list, click Add apps and specify the path to an application file.

    The application is added to the trusted list. Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will not block this application.

You can unblock the applications that have been automatically blocked by Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business or move them to the list of trusted applications so that they will not be blocked in the future.

To remove an application from the list of trusted applications:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the lower left corner of the main window, select Settings settings_icon.

    The Settings list opens.

  3. Switch to the Exclusions section.
  4. In the Trusted apps list, select an application and click Remove.

    The application is removed from the list of trusted applications.

To add a machine to the list of trusted machines:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the lower left corner of the main window, select Settings settings_icon.
  3. The Settings list opens.
  4. Switch to the Exclusions section.
  5. In the Trusted machines list, click Add machines and specify an IP-address.
  6. Click OK.

    The machine is added to the trusted list. Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business will not block this machine.

To remove a machine from the list of trusted machines:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the lower left corner of the main window, select Settings settings_icon.
  3. The Settings list opens.
  4. Switch to the Exclusions section.
  5. In the Trusted machines list, select the machine and click Remove.

    The machine is removed from the list of trusted machines.

For the Trusted machines feature to work, the Audit logon events function must be enabled in Windows settings.

When you exit the Settings section, you will be prompted to save the changes or leave the section without saving. Don't forget to save the changes if you want them to apply.
