Hardware and software requirements

Kaspersky Threat Feed App for Splunk and Feed Service have the following system requirements.

Supported operating systems

Kaspersky Feed Service can run on the following operating systems:

• Linux x64

Software requirements

Kaspersky Threat Feed App for Splunk has the following software requirements:

• Splunk 6.2, 6.3, 6.4
• Python 2.6, 2.7

CPU requirements

Feed Service has the following minimum CPU requirements:

• Intel Pentium 300 MHz or faster processor (or equivalent).

  It is recommended to use Kaspersky Threat Feed App for Splunk and Feed Service on high-end servers.

Hard disk space requirements

Kaspersky Threat Feed App for Splunk and Feed Service have the following hardware requirements:

• Kaspersky Threat Feed App requires a minimum of 50 KB of hard disk space. This does not include additional hard disk space taken by indexes.
• Feed Service requires a minimum of 8 MB of hard disk space. This does not include additional hard disk space taken by data feed files.

Memory requirements

Feed Service have the following memory requirements:

• Feed Service requires a maximum of 2 MB of memory space, when it is not using any data feeds. The actual amount of memory used by Feed Service is significantly higher.
