Kaspersky Internet Security for Android

Important changes in this version

This Help is applicable to Kaspersky Internet Security for Android 11.20.4.XXXX.

We've made the following changes to the app:

  • To comply with new Google rules, we removed the following features from Kaspersky Internet Security for Android:
    • The Privacy Protection feature that allowed you to hide your private contacts and all related call and text message history.

If you used this feature, you can restore your hidden private contacts in this version.

    • The Text Anti-Phishing feature that blocked links to malicious and spoofed websites in text messages.
    • One of the SIM Watch functions, namely sending an SMS message with a new phone number when a SIM card is replaced on your lost or stolen device.
    • One of the Anti-Theft functions, namely wiping personal data from a lost or stolen device.

You can still remotely perform a factory reset of your device and wipe the memory card.

    • Some functions of the Call Filter feature including the Allow contacts only option and the blocked calls log.

Call Filter now blocks calls based on your blacklist of contacts.

    • SMS-based activation of premium features. Now you can only enter the activation code manually.
  • General bug fixes and improvements.
