Data provision under the End User License Agreement

Data provided to Kaspersky Lab using Kaspersky Password Manager 9.2:

  1. For the Rightholder and/or its Partners to fulfill their obligations under this License Agreement, the Rightholder needs to receive and process information for the declared purposes. Such information may be considered personal according to applicable laws of certain countries.
    • Management of acquired licenses and operation mode of the Software via the Web-Portal

      The Web Portal helps You remotely manage Your acquired licenses and operation mode of the Software. This functionality requires that the Rightholder receive from Your Computer and process Your email address and the unique identifier in the Rightholder’s services, information about the installed Software, the acquired license, information about the Computer. This information consists of the following:

      • Information about the user: user name and password of the user's My Kaspersky account; user ID; temporary authentication data of the user in Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about whether the user agreed/declined to receive news from Kaspersky Lab by email
      • ID of the Kaspersky Password Manager service
      • Information about the device on which the application is installed: device name; device type; device ID in Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about the operating system: operating system version; version of the installed update package of the operating system
      • Information about the application: application ID; application type; application version; application localization code; marketing ID of the application; authentication data of the application in Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about the license: license ID; license activation code
      • Version of the protocol used for interaction between the application and Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about the purchase receipt of the license acquired via the App Store: My Kaspersky User Account identifier, authorization tokens to connect the Software to My Kaspersky infrastructure; the receipt of the purchase from the App Store; the App Store Software purchase identifier; the App Store transaction identifier; the purchase type (base or renew); the type of the operation system; the version of the App Store protocol
    • Providing You with the core functionality of the acquired Software

      The core functionality of the Software as described in the User Manual is to provide safe storage of Your account information (logins and passwords), data about Your bank cards, addresses, notes, documents, and other important information during use of the Computer. To provide this core functionality, while You are using the Software the Rightholder has to receive from Your device and process information about the installed Software, the acquired license, the scanned objects, detected threats on the Computer, information about the Computer, the Computer’s activity on the internet. This information consists of the following:

      • Information about the user: user name and password of the user's My Kaspersky account; user ID in Kaspersky Lab services; temporary authentication data of the user in Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about the application: application ID; application version; application localization code; authentication data of the application in Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about the device on which the application is installed: device name; device type; device model; device vendor; device IP address; device ID in Kaspersky Lab services
      • Information about the operating system: operating system version; version of the installed update package of the operating system
      • Information about the application installation: application installation ID
      • Information about the user password database: ID of the password database account; account type (user account, note, address, bank card, document); encrypted contents of the account; encrypted compressed file; master password hash; password database version; database encryption parameters
      • Information about agreements accepted by the user: ID of the agreement; agreement type; agreement version; indicator of acceptance of the agreement; time when acceptance of the agreement was changed; date and time when this data was transmitted
      • Version of the protocol used for interaction between the application and Kaspersky Lab services
      • Domain name of the website on which the application was triggered

      The data available in the databases for other versions of the software may differ from the description in the User Manual for this specific version. However it is still possible to work with databases from several different versions of the software, provided that they are compatible.

    • Improving software quality
      • Information about the use of Kaspersky Security Network (KSN): KSN identifier, software identifier, full version of the application, depersonalized IP address of the user’s device, indicators of the quality of fulfillment of KSN requests, indicators of the quality of the processing of KSN packets, indicators of the number of KSN requests and information about the types of KSN requests, date and time when statistics began being sent, date and time when statistics finished being sent
  2. Data processing by providers of Third-Party services. The work of the specific functionality of the Software is provided via access and/or use of Third-Party services as specified in this License Agreement. For the fulfilment of obligations under this License Agreement, the provider of the Third-Party services needs to receive and process information for the declared purposes. Such information may be considered personal according to applicable laws of certain countries.
    • Information received by the provider of the Third-Party services directly from the Software

      To provide the core functionality of the Software, the provider of the Third-Party services has to receive and process files that You upload during use of the Software, and ID of the user in the Rightholder 's services. Files are encrypted locally on the Computer using the End User's password and sent to the provider already encrypted over a secure channel.

      The Rightholder is not responsible for the processing of data when You use the Third-Party services. By using the Software to access and/or use third-party services, you are responsible for acquainting yourself with the data processing rules and procedures described in the privacy policy of the provider of the Third-Party services.

  3. When You provide Your data through the Software to the Rightholder, the Rightholder handles it according to its Privacy Policy, which describes, in particular, the manner by which the Rightholder protects Your data, where the Rightholder processes Your data, and your rights as the data subject.
