If Kaspersky Security Cloud notifies you that your hard disk is in critical condition due to deterioration, you may want to create a backup to reduce the risk of losing your data.
Open Time Machine to back up data from a hard disk
- Open the main application window and click
.
The Hard Disk Health Monitor window opens.
- Select the hard disk that is in critical condition.
- In the right pane, click Prevent Data Loss.
- In the dialog that opens, click Open Time Machine Preferences.
