Data provision under the End User License Agreement

  1. For the Rightholder and/or its Partners to fulfill their obligations under this License Agreement, the Rightholder needs to receive and process the following information for the declared purposes. Such information may be considered personal according to applicable laws of certain countries.

    For the purposes of software activation and verification of the legality of Software use, management of Computer protection and acquired licenses via the Web-Portal, improvement of the quality of the Software's operation, and provision of the core functionality of the Software, it is required that the Rightholder receive from Your Computer and process information about the Software, the acquired license, information about the Computer, the Computer’s network activity and activity on the internet:

    • Information about the Rightholder's Software: the unique Software installation identifiers on the Computer, the type, version and edition of the Software installed, the Software operation mode, the Software localization, the Software update task session identifier, the ID of the component that initiated the reputation request, the ID of the component that initiated the sending of a package, the ID of the package or reputation request sending scenario.
    • Information about the End User's Computer on which the Software is installed: the unique Computer identifiers where the Software is installed, the Computer type, the Computer name, the processor type on the Computer, the Computer vendor, information on the geographical location of the End User's Computer.
    • Information about the type, version, edition and localization of the operating system (OS) installed on the Computer and about OS update packages installed.
    • Information about acceptance and non-acceptance by the End User of the terms of user agreements with the Rightholder: the agreement type and version, the time of acceptance or non-acceptance, the End User's choice.
    • Data to connect Software to the End User's My Kaspersky account: My Kaspersky User Account, My Kaspersky unique account identifier, authorization tokens to connect Software to My Kaspersky infrastructure.
    • Information to connect the End User's Computer to the VPN infrastructure: the unique account identifiers to record the VPN traffic in the Third-Party service provider’s system.
    • Information on the Computer's connection to the wireless network: the name of the wireless network (SSID), the wireless network authentication type, the wireless network encoding type, the checksum (MD5 and SHA256) of the access point MAC-address; the unique identifiers compiled using a unique Computer identifier, the unique Computer installation identifier, the name of the wireless network and access point MAC-address; the attribute that the Computer is working from a battery or fixed facilities, the local time for starting and ending the Computer connection to the wireless network, the VPN launch settings session for the wireless network, the level of the network signal quality; the URL (or part of it) of the network service that requires special actions from the End User to get access to the Internet; the security level of the wireless network, the wireless network category, the attribute for the DNS name; the DHCP data of connection settings to the network: the checksum (SHA256) of the IP address (IPv4 and IPv6) of the DNS-servers, the checksum (SHA256) of the local IP address (IPv4 and IPv6), the checksum (SHA256) of the local IP address (IPv4 and IPv6) of the gate, the checksum (SHA256) of the subnet mask and network prefix length.
    • Information about wireless services available for connection to the End User's Computer: the wireless network name (SSID), the wireless network authentication type, the wireless network encoding type, the checksum (MD5 and SHA256) of the access point MAC-address; the unique identifier compiled using the unique Computer identifier, the unique Computer Software installation identifier, the name of the wireless network and access point MAC-address; the network signal quality level.
    • Information about the purchase receipt of the license via App Store: My Kaspersky User Account identifier, authorization tokens to connect Software to My Kaspersky infrastructure; the receipt of the purchase gathered from App Store; the App Store Software purchase identifier; the App Store transaction identifier; the purchase type (base or renew); the type of the operation system; the version of the App Store protocol.
    • Information about the use of Kaspersky Security Network (KSN): KSN identifier, software identifier, full version of the application, depersonalized IP address of the user’s device, indicators of the quality of fulfillment of KSN requests, indicators of the quality of the processing of KSN packets, indicators of the number of KSN requests and information about the types of KSN requests, date and time when statistics started being sent, date and time when statistics stopped being sent, KSN protocol version.
    • Information about the use of the Virtual Private Network (VPN) functionality with the Rightholder's Software: duration of the VPN session, geographic location of the VPN server, the license state, volumes of inbound and outbound traffic, ID of the VPN session launch scenario and type of launch, ID of the user’s action at the launch the VPN session, type of the event that terminated the VPN session, Software localization, Software customization.
  2. Data processing by providers of Third-Party services. The work of the specific functionality of the Software is provided via access and/or use of Third-Party services as specified in this License Agreement. For the fulfillment of obligations under this License Agreement, the provider of the Third-Party services needs to receive and process the following information for the declared purposes. Such information may be considered personal according to applicable laws of certain countries.
    • Information received by the provider of the Third-Party services directly from the Software and the Rightholder

      The provider of the Third-Party services has to verify the legality of access to the Third-Party services during Your use of the Software. To do so the provider of the Third-Party services has to process and receive the following information about the license You have acquired, and the Computer where You will install the Software:

      • Authorization tokens to connect Software to provider infrastructure services, temporary authorization data to start the VPN session, the unique Computer Software installation identifier, the unique account identifiers to record the VPN-traffic in the Third-Party service provider's system, the End User Computer type, the types of network protocols used for the VPN, information about the geographic location of the VPN server.
    • Information received by the provider of the Third-Party services when You use the Third-Party services

      When You use the Third-Party service, the provider of the Third-Party service processes information in accordance with its privacy policy. You can find and read its complete content at https://www.anchorfree.com/privacy/.

      The Rightholder is not responsible for the processing of data when You use the Third-Party services. By using the Software to access and/or use third-party services, you are responsible for acquainting yourself with the data processing rules and procedures described in the privacy policy of the provider of the Third-Party services.

  3. When You provide Your data through the Software to the Rightholder, the Rightholder handles it according to its Privacy Policy, which describes, in particular, the manner by which the Rightholder protects Your data, where the Rightholder processes Your data, and your rights as the data subject.
