About Kaspersky Software Updater

Kaspersky Software Updater 2.0 and all the previous versions of the application are no longer supported by AO Kaspersky Lab from June 14, 2019.

If you have not updated applications installed on your computer for a while, they may contain vulnerabilities. Attackers can exploit those vulnerabilities to damage your PC or data stored on it.

Updating applications improves the security of your computer. Using Kaspersky Software Updater, you can search for updates of applications installed on your computer, and download and install the latest updates.

Kaspersky Software Updater automatically searches for updates for the applications installed on your computer according to the selected search mode. Kaspersky Software Updater searches for new updates every week after its installation or according to the selected schedule. To search for updates, the application uses the update databases. If any updates have been found, Kaspersky Software Updater shows a pop-up notification. The pop-up notification is displayed in the upper part of the application window or in the lower right corner of your screen if the application window is minimized.

You can also start the search for updates manually.

Based on the update search results, Kaspersky Software Updater makes a list of applications for which updates are available. You can install all the updates found or only the selected ones.

Kaspersky Software Updater does not search for updates of Kaspersky Lab applications.

You can add the applications you do not want to update to the exclusion list. Kaspersky Software Updater does not notify you about new updates for the applications added to the exclusion list. You can view and edit the exclusion list.

Before searching for updates, Kaspersky Software Updater automatically downloads software modules and updates from Kaspersky Lab servers.
