About data provision
You can view information about the data provided to Kaspersky Lab using previous version of the application.
The information stored by the software will be synchronized with your personal data store on the servers of Kaspersky Lab's trusted partners around the world. This information, just like the information on your device, is stored in encrypted form. The encryption is performed using your personal secret key. Kaspersky Lab and its partners do not have access to your information. To use the software, you may need to provide your email address to register a Kaspersky Account. Keep in mind that removing the software from your device does not delete your information from the synchronization servers. This information can only be completely deleted after you delete your Kaspersky Account by contacting Kaspersky Lab technical support.
Information about data that you agree to provide by accepting the terms of the End User License Agreement.
General information:
- Application ID
- Application version
- Application type ID
- ID of the computer on which the application is installed
Information submitted to improve application performance:
- Version of the Updater component
- Number of crashes of the Updater component
- Update task type ID
- Number of failed update tasks of the Updater component
- ID of the error that caused an update task to fail
- Information about the application’s mode of operation after an update
- Information about the use of the user interface:
- ID of used interface element
- Name of the interface element
- Old and new values of modified settings
- Names of other Kaspersky Lab applications installed on the computer (including the locale of the interface and the type of license used)
- Name and version of the operating system installed on the computer (including the names and versions of installed updates)
- Information used to detect data input forms on websites:
- Date and time when the website database was released
- Version of the website database
- Web addresses of websites viewed in the browser (excluding the query string)
- Time when the website was visited
- Information about the structure of website elements
Information for evaluating the popularity of the application:
- Application ID in the Kaspersky Security Network
- Application build ID
- Anonymized IP address
Kaspersky Lab protects any information thus received in accordance with law and applicable Kaspersky Lab rules.
Kaspersky Lab uses any received information in anonymized form and as general statistics only. Aggregate statistics are automatically generated from the source information received, and do not contain any personal or other confidential data. The original information received is destroyed as new information is accumulated (once a year). Aggregate statistics are stored indefinitely.
